UPDATE 3/20/08:
JOHN CLINE ARRIVES AT THE TOWNHOUSE, BEGINS WORKING TO SET IT UP.

| In a TRUE TEST of Human Endurance, John Cline begins his day at the Townhouse. For the first time EVER, one of our properties gets opened SOLO. John, working BY HIMSELF for the entire buildout weekend, will brave isolation, sleep deprivation, and having ZERO help. Can he do it? |
|

 |
| Things get off to a ROCKY START when John realizes that there is literally no one to help him with any equipment, furniture, installation, pictures, decorating, or clean up. He is basically the Tom Hanks character from the movie CASTAWAY. Will he crack? |

| By Thursday evening, he begins to show signs of stress when he starts uploading old cell phone pictures (previously stored on his phone) to Dave. Here John sends a photo of his hometown Pittsburgh on a typical winter day. |

| Stuck at the Townhouse working literally 20 hours straight by himself without so much as a radio, things make a turn for the better when deep in an upstairs closet, John discovers an abandoned unopened bottle of red wine. He sends us a final, grainy cell phone picture. This was the last communication we received from John that night. Attempts to reach him later were unsuccessful. |

DAY TWO 3/21/08:
John sleeps on the floor, uses newspapers to cover himself. He is awakened at 10AM suffering from "flu-like
symptoms". Suddenly, he becomes elated when he realizes the
furniture delivery crew arrived and is already unloading furniture into
the townhouse. He attempts to communicate, but becomes
disappointed when he realizes they don't understand what he is
saying.

| After surviving on chicken club sandwiches for 2 1/2 days, John buys enough food to continue surviving throughout the lonely build out. All of the food groups are there...beer, wine, grocery store sushi, Cheese-Whiz, powdered sugar donuts and chocolate milk. |

3/24/08:
The weekend slips by in a haze of confusion for John. The work
must continue. For the first time, he reports that he
is exhausted and the mental and physical stress is taking a
toll. Can he complete the job solo?

| Buoyed by his discovery of a Wendy's nearby, John stocks up on chili. Here he is seen on Day 4 eating cold chili for breakfast. Having recovered from the bottle of questionable wine, John feels refreshed and set to get back to work. Sleeping 2 to 4 hours per night is suppressing his immune system and wreaking havoc on his short term memory. He presses on, yet reports seeing spots on everything he looks at directly for more than 5 seconds. |

In his haste, John spills full can of green paint in the sink, but thankfully is able to clean up the mess within mnutes. Johns work surface is becoming smaller and smaller as can be seen in this photo. |
