Yes, the BEST Townhouse at Windsor Hills. And our BEST purchase EVER at Windsor Hills. Our story continues. By this time, late 2012, we already own 4 Condos in Windsor Hills and 2 Townhouses, along with a Condo over at Cocoa Beach. All are very successful and our website has grown by leaps and bounds. Someone asked me "if you could own any one Townhouse in Windsor Hills, which one would it be?" I immediately answered "The one at the end of Sir Kaufmann Ct". What I was talking about is this Townhouse. The SUNSET VIEW END UNIT. Not only is it perfectly located, but you can watch the beautiful Florida sunsets from the pool deck. I did not know at the time what the inside of this townhouse looked like, I had been answering the question based upon the LOCATION alone. When we were living down the street on Sir Kaufmann Ct from 2010 to 2011, I wished this unit would go on sale, but it did not. I even had thought about calling the owners to see if they would ever sell, but I thought they'd probably think I was kidding, so I didn't take that step. Well, it was the middle of Hurricane season 2012, early September, and the weather was rainy, rainy, rainy. One day, my phone rang. "It's for sale". It was our realtor Mike Derenthal on the line. I responded with a question. "What's for sale?" I said. "Your Townhouse you guys have always wanted". I was immediately reeling... you mean the one at the end of Sir Kaufmann? "Yes" was the reply. I asked Mike how soon could he meet there to go through it. It didn't matter what the price was, I would have paid just about anything! Mike and I raced down to Kissimmee and 30 minutes later, we were opening the front door. It pays to live here in Central Florida, because you can be on the scene of any property within 20 minutes or so. This Townhouse popped up on the MLS listing... and we were at the front door 30 minutes later. I wanted to get it under contract THAT DAY - QUICKLY, because I knew the minute someone else saw it, the bidding war would start. Even if it would have been trashed on the inside (which frankly, I had expected because that's my luck), we still would have made an offer because of the location only. But inside was the most gorgeous and upgraded Townhouse at Windsor Hills I had ever seen. The owners had done an amazing job with this place. Beautiful upgraded tile, upgraded lighting, fixtures, crown molding through the entire first floor, Flat Screen HDTV's already mounted on the walls. It was incredible. Outside, there is a massive Green Space beside you, huge park-like setting where you are a quarter mile from the closest other house, south facing pool, and full privacy. We had an offer to the sellers within the hour, and the negotiations began. We ended up settling on $188,000 as the purchase price, and I felt we were stealing the Townhouse at that price. The Sellers had a number in mind, we hit that number, and everyone was happy. On October 2, 2012, we closed on the Townhouse and immediately named it "THE NEW SUNSET VIEW END UNIT" because of the great sunsets over the park like green area beside the Townhouse, that you can watch from the pool deck. Patti commented after looking around inside that had we LIVED in THIS Townhouse first, she may never have started looking for a house, it's that nice, and that private. When you come into this Townhouse, you are looking at the BEST of the BEST accomodations near Disney, the NICEST Townhouse at Windsor Hills. Please enjoy your time here, this is our Crown Jewel and we are very proud of it, and that we somehow managed to get it into the portfolio of properties. We will own this one forever, and when I'm 80 and retired, Patti and I will be spending the winters here, so enjoy the winters in this unit while you still can, LOL! -Dave
