Emerald Island Resort- 2772 Sun Key

be aware of the $20 parking gate pass fee we weren’t told about! We stayed 4 nights to visit Disney. Upon arrival the guy tells us we would be good for that night checking in but the next day we would need to go to the clubhouse(hours from 8am-10pm or 9pm) to retrieve and pay for a $20 gate pass. We came back the second night and another guy told us we could get it again on the next day. Third night I explained we were never at the resort (in Disney parks) at the hours open to retrieve the pass. He rolled his eyes! 4th and final night we pulled up and same guy that rolled his eyes walked away from the security guard and the security guard approached us with a disgusting attitude and kept yelling at us saying we wouldn’t be able to access property gate and would have to walk in the rain to get to our condo. The clubhouse was closed again of course and he just kept on arguing with us. We stay with vacation central Florida all the time but this was our first time at Emerald Island! We usually stay at Windsor hills and will never stay here again after this!!!Mattresses in both extra bedrooms are beyond terrible! Beyond bowed! Floors are floating floors on a two story unit and make loud noises every time you take a step so makes it hard not waking anyone up! Shower curtains need washing and changing! Every single towel to bathe and dry with was musty!

Great location on a nice quiet resort. Close to restaurants and fast food chains as well as the major theme parks. The property itself was spacious for a townhome. Only complaint is that the beds were very uncomfortable and hard to sleep on.

Excelente locación, entorno natural espectacular , dotada con todos los elementos de buen confort , todo a menos de 15 minutos (Disney, Ross y Walmart).Todo de 10!! No veo la hora de volver . Muchas gracias Esmerald Island Resort y Kara de Vacation Central Florida!!

Emerald Island was excellent. The property was clean and instructions were clearly posted, so we knew what to do upon entering and exiting the property. Great location, convenient to everything we wanted to do.Spacious and well furnished. We loved it and would like to stay there again.
