Sandcastles 704- Space Coast Oceanview!

Unit was clean and had a good amount of space. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pots and pans. Be sure and bring things like salt and pepper and sugar. The view of the ocean is nice. The king size bed is not very comfortable and the guest bathroom drain does not work well. Besides that, the access to beach was very good and the pool is very nice.

The condo was nice and well furnished. No complaints and would recommend.

Overall, we were satisfied with the unit and we have reserved it for a future visit; however, there are some issues which we would classify as nuisances.

The floors were swept but needed to be mopped. There was soot buildup on the ceiling near the air vents in the living room and master bedroom. There was also soot buildup on the air vents, especially the main return air grill at the furnace closet. The upper east wall in the master bedroom had significant dust buildup.

The balcony and kitchen blinds should be replaced. Slats fall out of the balcony blinds when operated. The kitchen blind is missing slat.

The guest bathtub backs up with water. It appears the drain plug mechanism needs to be replaced.

There was a warning to not set the air conditioner below 74-degrees to avoid freeze-up of the unit, which makes the bedrooms warm at night, and there are no ceiling fans.

The Spectrum TV remotes do not work properly in the living room and the guest bedroom. Also, there are no television-specific remotes for these TVs. The internet seemed very slow, which created some streaming issues.

The refrigerator has rust on the side, which is a cosmetic eyesore.

The dining room table has been brush-painted and the surface is rough. There is also some peeling along the edges.

There is also an electrical breaker issue with the dishwasher.

Our experience at the Cocoa Beach condo was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this place was thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need for a memorable trip. Great vacation rental - we have rented this unit multiple times as our family as grown and moved around the country. Sandcastles #704 has been an amazing home away from home where we can all meet and enjoy time together at the beach. It is well stocked to cook at home (we did thanksgiving here one year!), supply our beach days and more. The sleeping arrangements have done well to support our growing family. Better yet, the view of the beach to watch the rocket launches has been all time. The proximity to restaurants, beaches, etc was amazing. The best part… beach and pool access! Cheers!

This rental was stunning and lived up to our expectations. We visited Cocoa Beach to vacation with our family, enjoy the beach and surf. The location was amazing, the view from the balcony was unbelievable - too bad Artemis didn't launch, and the surf was perfect for the family. The apt had everything we needed. We were able to prepare food, do laundry and enjoy sunrises. We were in such a need to spend time as a family and this place made it happen.
We hope to be lucky enough to stay in this unit again.

I brought my family down for Spring Break. We found the property, cleanliness and location to be excellent. My only suggestion would be the unit needs a new AC unit. Being limited to 74 degrees, when it is 90+ outside will make it quite hot. Especially at night on the top floor. The views of the beach and coast were awesome !

Overall, a very nice vacation. We've stayed at Sandcastles in various units many times over the years and absolutely love the location.

Building – Sandcastles public areas are very clean and well maintained. The pool is excellent. The beach is wonderful, and access is easy.

Cleanliness – The interior of the unit was spotless, but the balcony could use a good scrubbing. Also, the balcony light needs to be repaired as there are exposed electrical wires.

Amenities – The appliances looked new and were in excellent working condition. All the necessary dishes and other kitchen paraphernalia were present and in good condition. Plenty of bath towels and bed linens, although we could not find any beach towels. The beach chairs that were present were in poor condition. The electronics were functional, but old. WiFi was good.

Decor – The overall decor has a beach vibe. The furniture was clean and in good condition. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean, but very dated in appearance.

View – The unit is on the top floor so you have an unobstructed view. It faces north, so it overlooks the buildings next door, but it still has a nice view of the ocean and beach. If there are any rocket launches, you can watch from the balcony.

Exactly what was pictured and matched what others have reviewed. Location is great and property well kept and stocked with everything to make it a home away from home.

We had a great stay at Sandcastles 704. The unit had everything you could need. The pool was warm and clean. The beach was beautiful. Great location, close to everything. You have to have a key to go in and out of the gate to the beach and to the pool which was nice for safety but a little bit of a pain too. We had 2 keys and 6 people so there were times we couldn’t do what we wanted for lack of a key. You should add more pictures of the beach and pool to the advertisement for this unit. I only knew there was a pool from reading other people’s reviews.

Very nice condo with lots of space. Condo does need some routine maintenance like replacing light bulbs, drain cleaner, etc. One thing to be aware of is that the balcony is on the north side (no sun). The beaches are endless and great for walking
